UYSTO works hard and tirelessly to address issues concerning poverty and hunger, with its approaches of basic skills in entrepreneurship and hands on skills training and food tower construction, this has realized a great impact among the communities in regards to bringing down levels of poverty and hunger. We advocate and create opportunities in establishing vocational training centers at schools levels and Organizations as well as training individuals in acquiring personal hands on skills.

Startups, loans and other opportunities linking up to acquiring and creating jobs are provided to the finalists.

Vegetable growing work camps are organized and school gardens put into place to increase on the food security. This is through the help of young people themselves getting involved practically and their teachers concerned.
